Day 01 CHANDIGARH – KASAULI (02 HRS )


 Arrive Chandigarh airport.
 Leave by road for Kasauli
 Kasauli (37 km) - Kasauli is a cantonment and town, located in Solan district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment was established by the British Raj in 1842 as a Colonial hill station,An enchanting hill station with lots of colonial charms, Kasauli is surrounded with mixed forest of pine, oak and wild flowers.

Day 02 KASAULI – CHAIL – SHIMLA (04 HRS )


 Breakfast at hotel.
 Later leave for Shimla.
 Enroute visit Chail  CHAIL : Chail is a hill station and Major Holiday destination in Himachal Pradesh, Chail once served as the summer capital of His Highness Maharaja Adhiraj Bhupinder Singh of Patiala . Chail is situated at an altitude of - 2,250 m, higher than Shimla. The place is surrounded by the forests of chir pine and gigantic deodars. Shimla and Kasauli can also be viewed at night from here by overlooking Satluj river. Chail is pleasant in summers and cold in winter. there are good sightseeing places and possibility of some fishing and trekking. Chail also has the world's highest cricket pitch and polo ground.
KASAULI, SHIMLA, MANALI, DHARAMSALA, DALHOUSIE, AMRITSAR
 Proceed to Shimla.
 On reaching Shimla transfer to Hotel.
SHIMLA - Mountain peaks encircle Shimla, the summer seat of the British empire. It was discovered by Lt. Rose of the British Army in 1819. Patron goddess of the little village was Shamla Devi, and she gave her name to the settlement that sprang here. At an altitude of 2130 metres, Shimla straddles a rhododendron and conifer clad ridge, with settlements sloping down on both sides. A little steam engine chugs its way up forbidding inclines, trailing a leisurely handful of coaches. Shimla still retains its past historic splendours and is everything that it was in the good old days: wooden bungalows with gardens in which gladioli and hydrangea bloom; leisurely moments of horse riding, golf and cricket and fireside chats.

Day 03 SHIMLA TOUR & KUFRI


 Breakfast at hotel
 Later leave on tour of Shimla visit The Ridge – famous for its neo – Gothic structures, Lakkar Bazaar - popular for its wood crafts and souvenirs, Jakhoo Hill, St. Michael’s Cathedral and State Museum, Kalabadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained – glass - windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1850 ‘s
 Noon leave on excursion to Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty. Evening free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri

Day 04 SHIMLA TO MANALI ( 09 HRS )


 After breakfast, check out of hotel and Leave by road for Manali
 Enroute enjoy the country side, view the bias river
 Arrive Manali and transfer to hotel

Day 05 MANALI - TOUR


 Breakfast at hotel
 Later leave on City tour to visit Hadimba Devi Temple – built in the tranquil and serene woods, Vashist Bath, Tibetan Monastery, and Roerich art Gallery.
 Noon leave on Half day tour of Naggar Castle.

Day 06 MANALI ROTANG PASS


 After breakfast, leave on excursion to ROHTANG PASS – The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen at their best, you have next two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledge ride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills.
 On descents to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Visit Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund

Day 07 MANALI TO DHARAMSALA ( 255 KMS / 07 HRS)


 Breakfast at hotel.
 Later leave for Dharamsala.
 Arrive Dharamsala and transfer to hotel

Day 08 DHARAMSALA - Mcleodganj


 Breakfast at hotel
 MCLEODGANJ : Often called the Little Lhasa, at 1770m is the residence of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. The Tibetan Government in exile has been head quartered here for over three decades. The impressive monastery has larger than life images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava and Avaloktwshwara. The large Tibetan community and the presence of traditional architectural designs drawn from Tibet have enhanced the area.
 Visit :-
ï‚· Tsug la Khang (Dalai Lama’s Temple) :- is the life-blood of the village. It houses the Namgyal Monastery and shrine rooms.
ï‚· Tibet Museum : Beside Tsug la Khang is the small but interesting Tibet Museum, telling the history of Tibet and its people.
ï‚· Namgyal Monastery :- Namgyal Tantric College, which is more commonly known as Namgyal Monastery, is the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It has been working for young Tibetan monks in the hope of ensuring the survival of the unique Tibetan Traditional Buddhist studies and practices. The monastery was founded by His Holiness the second Dalai Lama, Gedun Gyatso (1440-1480) to assist him in carrying out his religious activities and to serve humanity.
At present, the monastery has nearly two hundred monks and of these the younger monks are engaged in the study of the major texts of Buddhist Sutra and Tantra while at the same time pursuing modern studies. The monastery has become second home for these young monks where they receive free accommodation and food as well as traditional and modern education.
ï‚· Namgyalma Stupa : This Buddhist stupa is a memorial to those Tibetans who lost their lives fighting for a free Tibet.
A statue of the Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined in a small chamber at the top. The stupa is located in the heart of McLeod and surrounded by prayer wheels.

Day 09 DHARAMSALA – DALHOUSIE (05 HRS)


 After breakfast, Leave for Dalhousie
 On reaching Dalhousie transfer to Hotel.
 Dalhousie -is full of old world charm and holds lingering echos of the Raj era. Is built on five hills - Kathlog, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun. It is named after the British governor General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. The town's average height is 2036 m, and is surrounded by varied vegetation - pines, deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Dalhousie has charming colonial architecture, including some beautiful churches. Its location presents panoramic views of the plains and like a long silver line, the river Ravi twists and turns below Dalhousie. The spectacular snow-covered Pir Panjal Range of mountains in Jammu and Kashmir,Pangi Valley of Chamba and Sach Pass are also visible form this enchanting town.
 Evening enjoy a leisurely walk on the Mall road.

Day 10 DALHOUSIE – KHAJJIAR – DALHOUSIE

 Full day excursion to KHAJJIAR, 18 kms
Its one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover.

Day 12 DALHOUSIE – 5 HRS / 180 KMS – AMMRITSAR

 Leave for Amritsar.
 On reaching transfer to hotel.
 Transfer to hotel.
 Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Borger to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony. Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beatinh the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in prefect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective flags. As the sun goes down, nationalist fever rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause

Day 13 AMRITSAR GOLDEN TEMPLE – AIRPORT

 Later leave to visit the Golden Temple – the most important Sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs
