Tour Description
Day 01 BHUBANESHWAR
Arrive Bhubaneshwar airport / railway station
Transfer to Hotel.
Later half day sightseeing of Tribal Museum ( closed on Monday ), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha (Orissa) )
Overnight: in Bhubaneshwar
Day 02 BHUBANESHWAR – tour
Breakfast at hotel
Later leave to visit the famous city temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar (one of the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar, has been constructed in the style that is quite similar to the one used in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture and know as the 'gem of Odisha (Orissa) architecture' ), Rajarani temple.
Noon visit to Nandankanan Zoo ( closed on Monday ).This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical garden
Overnight: in Bhubaneshwar
Day 03 BHUBANESHWAR – PURI – enroute visit Dhauli, Hirapur, Pipli, Raghurajpur
After breakfast, we leave by road for Puri
en-route visit Dhauli (Buddhist stupa/peace pagoda), Hirapur (64 yogini temple), Pipli (the appliqué work village) & Raghurajpur (the Artisan village, the most famous attraction here are the Pattachitra (miniature paintings), palm leaf engravings, stone carvings, wooden toys, tusser paintings etc.
Arrive Puri and transfer to hotel
Evening visit Shri Jaganath Temple get the blessing
Overnight: in Puri
Day 04 PURI – visit Konark Temple
Breakfast at hotel
Later drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple (famously known as Black Pagoda). The Sun Temple is also a UNESCO heritage site was built by King Narasimha of Ganga dynasty in the 13th century
En-route visit to Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach (one of the finest beaches with a long stretch of clean sands & the beach has its own lovely serenity).
Return to Puri.
Evening visit to beach market.
Overnight: in Puri
Day 05 PURI – excursion to CHILKA LAKE
Early morning witness sunrise at Chandrabhaga Beach.
Return to hotel for Breakfast
Later leave for Chilka Lake – the largest brackish water body in Asia & is the home of numerous birds & sea life. Take the boat cruise to visit the Irrawaddy Dolphins & Rajhans Island. Also visit Kalijai Temple located at Kalijai Island.
Return to Puri
